Project History:

Can we utilize the architectural plans that we invested in several years ago and forego the expense of doing new plans?

It is likely that the architectural firm we hire will use some of the material previously generated, particularly as it relates the current condition of the building. However, several years have elapsed, the building condition has changed somewhat, the educational needs have changed, construction materials and costs have changed, electronic technologies have changed, and the state program to help us fund the school has changed. The architectural firm we hire will review the prior plans and we will task them with “not reinventing the wheel” wherever they can avoid it.

What were the major issues being addressed in the previous school renovation plans?  How has the thinking changed since then?

Why did the previous attempt to fund a school renovation fail?  Will we have the support to see this through to completion this time?
