Process Overview

The Massachusetts School Building Authority has selected Tahanto to be one of the first to participate in their school construction and renovation reimbursement program.

The process below is defined by the MSBA and is being followed carefully by our School Building Committee.

•	Hire an “Owner’s Project Manager” to assist us thru the process
•	Hire a Designer/Architect for Feasibility Study
•	Conduct Site Survey, Feasibility Study
•	Conduct Schematic Design
•	Get approval from towns for construction
•	Conduct Detail Design
•	Select builder and build the school

Collect reimbursements from MSBA for each step along the way

Each step requires MSBA approval before proceeding to the next.
